Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery...

I am sure most of you have heard about one of the newest blogs to hit the scene called ‘’Stardoll Trendsetters’’ brought to you by Ashton (Ashy_loves_you), Brigitte (Ms.Brigitte) and Lou (xLou26). Does this blog sound familiar to you? Well it sure should seeing as Marie (Babii-mariex) and former stardoll-user Heidi (Heidi-di) had a blog identical to this new one as it was also called ‘’Stardoll Trendsetters’’. Noticed how the new ST has a ‘Trendsetter of the week’ poll? Well guess what, so did the original ST!

The banner for the new ST says- ‘The new sd trendsetters’, so what does this mean, the new Marie and Heidi? You’d think that Ashton, Brigitte or Lou would have talked to Marie or Heidi. You’d be wrong though, Marie found out about the new blog today, and according to the comments that she has recently made, she is most definitely NOT happy with this apparent copying, she also seems to be heading most of her anger towards Lou, even she doesn’t know why though!

The comment reads-

''wow, this sounds alot like me and heidi's old blog. you know sd-trendsetters? mm the names identicle. copying gets you nowhere. im not finished here, believe me.''

The part that obviously stands out the most is the part where she says that she's not finished here, what exactly does she mean? Revenge, perhaps? Who knows, but I'm most certain that we will find out in good time...

To wrap this post up, what do you think about all this? Did the new team purposely use the name in the know that they would be copying, or is it a simple mistake where they really didn’t have a clue about the original? I think we all know that this is not the end.

The Good, The Bad, The Tragic.

Hey yal! :) I'm just stopping by to put in my two cents about what's been going on on the blog lately. Over the past two days I've read through the articles I missed while I was offline, and had a chance to skim through the comments on them so I have a pretty good idea how most of you feel. Here's what I think:

I gotta say, and sorry to anyone whose feelings this hurts but I'm not going to sugarcoat it, most of what I've seen has been garbage. The fashion posts have all been boring and contrived. I think the only one that I liked was babii-mariex (who seems to have copied fakeshake3's face and make-up), she gets major props for posting filipinhamaria's amazing creation alone.

ashy_loves_you AKA Ashton is probably the best trial poster so far, his article was the only gossip post which was refreshing for me personally seeing as this is a gossip blog (I'd like to interject that I never posted anything without backing it up with proof, so I expect the same from any writer on this blog. Also, Britney and Tyler?? Lol is he still pretending to be straight??), and he has a sense of humor. His delivery wasn't exactly original, but I could see what he was going for and I think if he is chosen to write permanently for the blog he will find his own voice.

surfsandandFAIL gets credit for making me laugh, her article on Dodence_bt was so tragic I don't even know where to start! :D Apparently the "dirt" on him is that he called her a liar under the blog comments of an article she wrote (no one cares), he's a drama queen (really?? I'm shocked!), some catfight he got into with arna-rut months ago, and that he's addicted to Stardoll (who isn't?). All of that is pathetic enough on its own, but then add the fact that she tried to post as a "Mystery Blogger" and then put up a photo of his account with her at the top of his Last Visitors! LMFAO!!! :D:D

Then the "rebels", Spudz (spudz1210) and Tori Spelling's dearly departed dog (R.I.P. Mimi) with their anti-"Elites" shtick was just tired. It's been done before ladies. You're just singing the same old song, and out of tune at that. I'm giving Mimi the benefit of the doubt since Dan hired her, and I trust his judgement. But I'm not impressed.

I know Diva's just trying to be fair and giving all of the applicants a chance to be featured on the blog, and bless her heart because if it were me most of the recent trial posts would have been rejected on the spot. There will be no more trial posts published unless they are approved by me. I know this is just a stupid Stardoll blog, but I'd like to think I set the bar pretty high as far as stupid Stardoll blogs go and most of what has been published lately has been painful to read and does not live up to PSG standards.

Post in the comments who you hated, who you've liked the most so far, and who you'd like to see write permanently on the blog. Be blunt!
