Vanessa back on top??

It's nice to see Star_Awards back in the Stardoll scene.

So far her come back has gotten off into a good start, her magazine Eccentric was amazing! She's bringing back the Star Awards on a high note. And now, she just recently opened up a new blog called Doll Exposed. The blog is about her views on her time on Stardoll, but overall about Stardoll fashion. It's actually not that bad, it somewhat reminds me of Tyler's Top Trends. Speaking of fashion blogs, whatever happened to Manolo.DiCicco's Beyond Beauty blog??

But before we get too excited about Vanessa's return, let's remember she's known for dropping things and then leaving Stardoll (no wonder why Miss_LolitaF and her became buddies)......so how long will her return last???

Dioguardi Couture: What should have been.

Earlier this year, I was hired by Dioguardi Couture. After a falling out between Manolo and I, we silently decided not to show this collection. Since we still aren't talking, and it's stardoll fashion week.... I thought that I would share the Spring/Summer 2011 with you guys. Some of them are my fashion designs, and others are graphics made by Manolo, Yazmin, and Alice. I really, really liked this collection. It had a baroque theme, and played homage to my muse, Marie Antoinette. Enjoy!

Tyler vs. Manolo

Tylerisbold never fails to hold back his thoughts. This time he publicly lashed out on his 'fashion' blog, Tyler's Top Trends at DG owner Manolo.DiCicco.

Why? Well, Tyler felt offended by a statement Manolo made about his new fashion blog Beyond Beauty, in which you can read below.

"I'm going to tell you that Beyond Beauty's goal IS to stand out from the rest!! Because we're talking high fashion here!! Forget everything you've ever read on any other Stardoll fashion blog because this is the real deal and I'm sure that this blog is going to be a rather delicious feast for your fashion eye!!" -Manolo

After Tyler read that statement, he felt Manolo was basically calling every Stardoll blog related to fashion "SHIT". Tyler even went on to say that "Dioguardi Group Sucks," and that he would no longer support them.

Manou Gets Crazy

We all know that Manou (Manolo.DiCicco) loves to explore new things, such as cosmetics, menswear, and fragrances, but what about his newest projects associated with Dioguardi: MCM and SGF?MCM Publishers is Stardoll's first book publisher company, which may not be such a great idea. Outlandish ideas are Manou's specialty, as stated by the many commentators on the fragrance post. The website states that they will publish your book into the Stardoll scene, and maybe get you featured in the Stardoll Magazine. I am all for getting your talent noticed, but I think a publishing company might be a little too far. After all, publishing means putting your writing/book into print, and it'd be crazy to attempt to print out a book that someone made. To me, a publishing company is a bit too far, and it's almost like Elite Network.Stardoll Global Fashion is a great project, in my eyes. It's all about promoting racial diversity, which is something I'm all for (despite the fact that I try to persuade my mom to run over the Mexicans in front of our Home Depot, because they're always in our way). Each month, SGF will explore a new country, and it will encourage users and staff members to partake in events such as styled outfits, makeup tutorials, drawings, and more. It is not mandatory to belong to the country of the week. I think this could be great, especially because it will help people to learn more about different countries, while still having fun. This week is Brazil, so visit the blog to learn more.

Maggie Says Bye-Bye To DG!

We saw it coming, and now it's official. Findurlove is stepping down has owner of Dioguardi Group. She will still be part of Dioguardi nevertheless, but only has owner of DG's Dioguardi Couture.

I think she made a good choice. Maggie didn't really succeed to people's expectations as owner. It really is a huge responsibility managing a group has big as Diogurardi. At least she tried.

So, I'm assuming Manolo.DiCicco will continue to manage the group until he finds a replacement. Will see....

Manolo will once again be owner of DG.

Manolo's Return

This is old news, but for those who don't know, Manolo.DiCicco is back on Stardoll. He'll be taking over Dioguardi Group while his successor Findurlove is out on break.

Hopefully, Manolo will stick around a little longer, because DG hasn't really been up to part since he left. It will be interesting to see what happens with the whole DG vs. Fashion Group drama. So far FG has really been on top with some amazing new projects.

Both groups are successful in their own ways, but a little competition never hurt anyone....right?

Hasta La Vista Lolita Loca

For those who live under a rock, Miss_LolitaF will no longer be writing for PSG. Why? Well, I think it's quite obvious she used the blog to promote nothing but projects, which were mostly hers. Not only was she fired from PSG, but she was also fired from Stardoll's Most Wanted for the same thing!

But Lolita claims she took a 'break' from the blog, but Emorox4eva (Owner of SMW) told me otherwise....

Seems her whoring out projects has left her jobless from two of the most popular blogs, but no worries she'll be advertising elsewhere.

UPDATE:
Just received news that Manolo.DiCicco also fired Lolita from Dioguardi Group.

I guess nobody can put up with her anymore.

BBS Task nr.3:

This task is very important because it will be a team work.

The 7 girls that are in the poll are safe from this task, while the other 10 will be divided in 5 groups with 2 members each.

In this task, they will show creativity and team work. In this tasks each group will have a topic and they will create an outfit for it, and also write an essay for it. One girl will create the outfit and the other will write the essay.

Each girl should add her partner and decide who will do the outfit and who will write the essay for it. For the Outfit you can check Style.com and decide to make one outfit that is shown there, while for the essay you can use google info but should write it by yourself.

The 2 groups with less votes from the judges will go in the poll and the 2 girls from the group with more votes to leave will be eleminated.

Deadline: May 27th

Send both picture of outfit and also text to Miss_LolitaF.

Next week will start the auditions for 2 new contestants.

Hey everyone, sorry for the lack of reports/style posts. I have been super busy with school and exams! Can't wait for them to be over. Good luck to everyone who also have exams!

Anyway, the new 'Dioaguardi' collection campaign has been released! I can honestly say, I cannot wait to see the whole collection! Will surely kick off the summer with a fabulous start!

Big Eternity News!

This screen shot was taken of writemarycat's presentation today. I'm sure that most of you heard about the deal that went on with Mary and the Dioguardi team, if not, here is the contract that they came up with, click HERE to see it. When that deal was decided, Manolo.Dicicco was going to the the Editor-In-Chief of Eternity magazine, and it was going to be run under the Dioguardi brand, but of course, Mary would still of been in the background as the complete owner of E, which she will ALWAYS be. But today, she decided that I, N1mka4eva (shameful username, you'll all find out what it means by reading Mary's presentation :D) will the be the new Editor in Chief, with Mary in the background still owning E. We are doing this so that Eternity magazine can live on forever, and empire, I mean... can you imagine coming on stardoll in 10 years time and still seeing Eternity. Maaaad! Anyway, here is her presentation:




Since some of the DrEam team has left stardoll or isn't on that much, we are looking for new writers. So guys, you're gonna have to message me on Stardoll to apply.

PSG has just received this exclusive logo from the line called Dioguardi, owned by Manolo.dicicco!



I love it. I love the florals and the colours. Do you think that it could be a collaboration with another great Stardoll graphics artist? After all, it does say ''pour'' which is French for ''for'', but doesn't have a name above it, who do you think it will be? Think Jane Birkin for Hermes! I heard that this line ''Allure'' is one of potentially many miniature lines that will be made within the Dioguardi brand, and with each new mini line, there will be a new person to do it! How exciting, eh?

It was just yesterday that Manolo.Dicicco released his spring/summer collection. Did anyone see it? Click HERE for the link to his blog if not. What did you think of it? Personally I didn't like it, at least it seemed like I was the only one that was unimpressed as everyone at the release was going wild! Congratulations, Manolo.

Manolo.Dicicco: My Fashion Valentine

I just saw a post on Manolo.Dicicco's Dioguardi Couture collection on Stardoll Hell and I'm OBSESSED! It's a sweet and sophisticated collection of flirty party dresses (two of which are modeled by our very own Nicole-0 and N1mka4eva!), sleek cocktail attire, and lovely capes set on a stunning runway, just in time for a Valentine's Day date. And the final "wedding dress" piece is a gorgeously constructed gown that literally has me cursing the choice of winners for Decade of the Teens and wishing Stardoll would create this collection for the shop instead!!
