Oh. My. God. News has reaches me of the untimely death of one of my favorite actress, Brittany Murphy, star of some of my favorite movies ever made, such as Uptown Girls, Drop Dead Gorgeous and 90's classic Clueless. For more on this see TMZ.I am sad to the very pit of my stomach, I feel sick. I have been a Brittany fan since I saw Clueless on cable with my best friend and Ty was always my favorite with her ditsy attitude and in Uptown Girls she made me cry as Molly Gunn, the penniless daughter of a tragic rock star forced to take on a terror of a kid but finding herself within the journey. I met Brittany in 2005 when she did promotion for Sin City and she was exactly as you would think, warm funny and had a smile that lit up a room.
I love you Brittany, I'll miss you so much but I guess it was your turn to join the angels and be an even brighter star in the sky than you were on the silver screen. To quote Ray from Uptown Girls; 'Every story has an end. But in life, every ending is just a new beginning.'
